Brief one this, based on a little tidbit that the SPL have added to their “unacceptable conduct” rules:
that unacceptable conduct includes using words, conduct or displaying any writing or other thing which indicates support for, or affiliation to, or celebration of, or opposition to an organisation proscribed in terms of the Terrorism Act 2000.
Now, there are various organisations termed as “proscribed” under the Terrorism Act. These include:
the Irish Republican Army
the Ulster Defence Association and
the Ulster Volunteer Force.
So, Motherwell supporters, better be careful with those banners.
